This is the before picture. The area was unplanted and within sight of the side walk. There is a fair amount of foot traffic on this street and the owners wanted to open the area up for barbecuing.

When the project was completed, there was plenty of space for entertaining and the passers by could not see into the yard.

There is even a nice bench from which to enjoy the water view.

Here is another project. The front planting bed was sloped, making it difficult to maintain and boring. There was just one path to the front door. The owners wanted to create an inviting entrance.

Here we created stairs between two levels. This makes it easier to maintain the planted areas, offers textural interest and welcomes visitors to their home.

This is a new development, mostly a blank slate... lucky us!
