landscape and horticultural community for over 25 years. With experience in
landscape maintenance, installation, design and retail; Alison has a strong
background in horticulture. She has learned to communicate what she knows in a
way that is easy to understand. Alison has studied horticulture in Marin, Contra
Costa and Alameda Counties with some of the best respected experts in the field.

drawing board Alison works with volunteers for California Native Plant Society and
the Benicia Tree Committee. Alison is an active member of the Association of
Professional Landscape Designers. Alison occasionally writes plant related
columns and speaks to a variety of organizations on a variety of subjects
